Soul Stroll 2026 Needs Volunteers!
Volunteers are the “backbone” of Bay Area Community Health Advisory Council. We need volunteers to help make Soul Stroll a success!
Please review our list of volunteer positions and responsibilities. At Soul Stroll, certain positions/shifts will be reserved for volunteer teams, and may be available after team sign-ups.
Great opportunity for community supporters, group teamwork, teens, young adults, and students.
Volunteers will benefit from a Soul Stroll package valued at $90!
Volunteer requirements
Volunteers must be at least 15 years old and each volunteer must sign a Volunteer Agreement Form. Those who are 15-17 years old must provide parent/guardian information and permission.
All volunteers must complete ticket registration/purchase for the May 16 event. Volunteer shift sign-up deadline date for discount code: Sunday May 3, 2026.

Volunteer orientation

Remember, volunteer orientation is highly encouraged for you to attend so that you can be well prepared to help make the volunteer operations and event successful. Please read the information about volunteer orientation.
We invite volunteers to attend the volunteer orientation to become familiar with your volunteer role and the event operations. At least one (1) volunteer team lead is required to attend.

T-shirt organizing for registered groups/teams
Soul Stroll t-shirts will be organized into bags groups/teams. Shift is 4:00 - 6:00 pm

Friday May 15, 2026
Soul Stroll Reception
This is a closed guest list evening event.
Location: College of San Mateo - 1700 W Hillsdale Blvd, San Mateo, CA.
First shift starts at 4:00 pm and last shift ends at 9:00 pm. Volunteers will have a meal at the reception, and no ticket purchase is required.

Soul Stroll at Coyote Point Recreation Area
Outdoor event with a walk/run course and a Community Health Village. Location: Coyote Point Recreation Area in San Mateo, CA. First shift starts at 5:30 am, last shift ends at 1:30 pm.
Soul Stroll Ticket purchase is required for all volunteers. Ticket discount code is for volunteers who have a confirmed shift sign-up. $10 savings from $35 regular fee.
