Off to a Good Start is our popular and FREE annual physical activity and nutrition program emphasizing the importance of at least 30 minutes of physical activity every day to improve general health, maintain a healthy weight, lower cholesterol, reduce depression, and help in the prevention of diabetes, heart disease, stroke, and some forms of cancer. Free breakfast and lunch! All attendees will participate in a drawing of prizes, including gift cards.

This year’s panelists include:

Dr. Manali Patel: Medical Oncologist, Associate Professor of Medicine, Stanford Health Care, with a focus on improving equitable delivery of value-based cancer care

Zhonnet 'Z' Harper: Alameda County Public Health Commissioner and dynamic patient navigator and health advocate

Dr. William Brown: Associate Professor of Medicine & Epidemiology and Biostatistics at UCSF, Dr. Brown leads research in AI, Big Data and more to address health disparities in vulnerable communities
